I may have mentioned that I was knitting a baby blanket, so, whilst Jack's mum was in labour, I was busily clicking away, trying to get the last few inches of my blanket finished! Once that was done, I needed to wait for him to be born, make sure he actually was a boy (no last minute surprises!!) and the he was definitely going to be called Jack.
Once all that was finally confirmed, I was able to make this.....
As you can see, I have used a gorgeous Humphrey's Corner stamp, along with a coordinating paper and alphabet from the CD. He is coloured with Spectrums and mounted on to my die hard circle scallop nestie.
As you can see, I made a coordinating tag, which has the washing instructions for my blanket (would hate for it to go in to the washing machine as a blanket and come out as a flannel!)
Here's a picture of the complete set......
I thought I would enter this card in to a couple of challenges:

Hi Sharon. I agree you are definitely too young to be a great aunty - I wouldn't admit to it if I were you!!! What a lovely set you created here for him :)
ReplyDeleteYes I do still see my squirrel friends although my craft room will overlook the front of the house and the majority of the squirrels visit us in the back garden as that is where their feeders are based :) xx
