The Easter Bunny has arrived!

Happy Easter everyone! Well, after lots of frenzied (or should I say panicked!) Card making, cookie baking, chocolate molding, flower picking and eater egg buying (which kind of explains my lack of blogging lately!) - we have finally reached Easter morning and at last all is calm  :-)

We are finally seeing some better weather here in my part of the UK…since the start of English Summertime last week, it has been more like winter around here -  and I am sitting at my computer, enjoying the view of the bits in my garden and finally enjoying a bit of blog time.

So here is the first of my Easter cards, using Bebunni and some of the digital papers from the Bebunni floral CD. I do love this little chap, and Easter is certainly the time for him to come out of the stamp box so you will see him popping up a few times in various guises.

I have coloured him in using Spectrum Noir pens and used one of my favourite dies to create the lovely lacy border.  Unfortunately I got a little snap happy with the scissors and accidentally cut a notch out of the bottom edge of the card so I had to do a little bit of a cover up with an extra paisley shape which i thought looked a bit like a petal!

Finally I had to add a little bit of sparkle with some dabs of pearl paint which add a little bit of a lift I think.
