Comical fun with Dr Digi at Fab N Funky

Welcome to another Wednesday with Fab n Funky where we have a great new challenge sponsored by Dr Digi.

I have to admit it is a particularly fab wednesday for me personally as I have a week off of work this week……bliss!

I have managed a couple of firsts with my card today:

1) This is the first time I have used a Dr Digi image. I really like this one as it makes a nice change to do something a bit humorous and this reminds me very much of those little cartoon strips that you see in newspapers. If any one has a good comment to put in a speech bubble do let me know!

2) This is the first time of trying out Spectrum Aquas….and I have to say I totally love them! As you know I love alcohol markers but they really are more about precision and careful blending. With these you can be much more slap dash and still get  great colour variation, so it's a really good way to get colouring on those days when you think that sitting with your alcohol pens is just a bit too intense.
As  you can see I have made an easel cad to create a kind of a scene and all of my papers are from a NitWits digi set, appropriately called 'TailWags'. The little dog tag and the faux ribbon are also from the same set.

I have also gone a bit mad with my dies, using a water lily die, which I turned in to sunflowers, and a picket fence (both from La la Land). I also used a Marianne icicles dies to create the grass. All of these were cut from white card and coloured with…..yes, you guessed it….Spectrum Aquas.

The challenge at F&F is all about Bingo, and I chose a vertical line for this card, containing a shaped card, a digi and some dies. Hopefully I have ticked all the boxes.  :-)

Meanwhile, here are some other lovely challenges that  I would like to enter:

Thanks very much for visiting today and for your lovely comments which I truly appreciate.
