Makey Bakey Mice say Cheese!
Well here we are on a Sunday evening and I am just popping by with a very quick post after a busy weekend.
Here's a card I made a while back using the Makey Bakey Mice CD.
It turned out to be quite a big card - about 8 x 10 inches, but I thought it would make a lovely card for a man who likes photography.
Bye for now.

Polka doodles - Sticks n Bones
Today I am taking a step back in time ........to last Easter!!
I wanted to make a card for my husband, but fluffy chicks bunnies were really not going to do it, so I thought that these Sticks and Bones dinosaurs, hatching from the prehistoric eggs, would be just the ticket.
I printed out my chosen image a few times so that i could decoupage the dinosaurs, and the paper and sentiment were also from the CD.
The little egg embellishments were also from a Polkadoodles CD...don't quote me but I think it was the first Winnie one.
I guess the next time the dinosaur images will be coming out will be for my husband's next birthday - lol!! (Don't tell him I said that!!!)
Bye for now.

Tic Tac Toe at Fab n Funky
It's time for a new challenge at Fab n Funky and this week DT member Pat has chosen the theme of tic tac toe.
If you pop over to the Fab n Funky challenge blog you will be able to see the tic tac toe grid, and you simply chose a line down or across to follow.
I chose Die cuts, a Digi Image and Flowers.
We are sponsored this week by Doodle Pantry who create loads of lovely images, including this gorgeous cupcake birdie., which also has backing papers, a some sentiments and a coloured version as part of the package.
I have coloured him in using Spectrum Noir pens and added a bit of sparkle with some glitter.
The 'faux' ribbon is a border die from Joanna Sheen and I even used the waste, which was all the little stars that you see.
Finally my cute little flowers are also dies cut, using a Stamps by Chloe die.
I hope you will pop over and join us at Fab n Funky this week.
See you there.

A fairy for a little girl,
I'm back with a very quick post today, to show a very simple card which I coloured with Crafters Companion Sparkles.
I have used a fairy stamp from Wild Rose Studios and kept everything super simple.
I thought the sparkles and bright colours might suit a little girl!
Thanks for visiting today.

In the frame
Hi there. I'm back today with a very quick post using Sheena's lili's.
I have stamped them on to pearlescent paper and coloured them with Spectrum Noir pens after having cut out the basic shapes using the matching dies.
They are very three dimensional so I wanted to do something different other than a card, so I opted for a picture frame.
I made the frame using dies which i then embossed with a crafters companion texture folder.
Finally, in case you were wondering, the picture itself was taken in Annecy I'm the French Alps, and those structures that look like rockets in the background are actually water slides!
That's all from me today.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's never too early to..........
..........make a start on Christmas cards!
All those Christmassy TV shows on the craft shows have put me in the mood for Christmas crafting, so I thought I would choose a Makey Bakey Christmas mouse to show you today. Isn't he a little cutie?
I have coloured him in with Spectrum Noirs, which happens to include some lovely deep reds as you can see.
For my cute little mouse, I coloured him up, let him dry a bit, and then dotted randomly with the same pens to give a bit of texture to his fur.
The bauble background that you can see was created with a Crafters Companion 6x6 embossing folder on centura pearl card, which I brushed over with gold Pan Pastel. Finally, I used centura pearl card in emerald green for the matting.
Thanks for visiting today, and a happy weekend to you all.

One girl and her Onesie.....
Well we have reached the end of another weekend, and I am sitting here on a Sunday night thinking 'where did those last two days go?'
It seems to me that a Sunday evening is the perfect time to kick back and relax in your PJ's, and try to enjoy what little remains of the weekend before returning to the Monday slog!!
Hey - I bet Bob Geldof wrote ' I don't like Monday's' whilst sitting in his PJs on a Sunday night!!
So, I have a card to show today, in honour of all those ladies who love lolling around in their Pjs as much as I do.....only this little lady still manages to look glamorous, whereas I most certainly DO NOT!
Everything that you can see has come from the Scruffy Little Cat range at Crafter's Companion. My young lady has been stamped on to water colour card and coloured with Aquablend pens, whilst my background was made from a card companion sheet from the CD.
Hope you like my card for today and that you all have a happy Monday aheads of you.
Thanks for stopping by.

Step back and take a look around you......
Hi there, I am back with a card this morning, which features a Sheena Douglas stamp, which was released a while back. For me this image makes you think that sometimes you just need to get out of the rat race, stop for a moment, look around and remember what's important!
May be I am reading too much in to it, but there you are!!
I stamped my guy on to water colour card and coloured him in using Spectrum AquaBlend pencils and good old water. As is Sheena's style she has left clues where the shading should be and, in the end I have ended up with a very rustic look.
The lovely leaves are from the same stamp set and, again, they are stamped in to water colour card, coloured with two shades of green and cut out. Very simple to do, and the end result s very natural looking I think. It sounds a bit weird, but I think the leaves are my favourite bit on this card.
So, I hope you like my card today, and that you will also have a chance to 'step back' this weekend!
Thanks for visiting.

Two or more Design Papers at Fab n Funky
Time is flying by, and that means it's time for another challenge at Fab n Funky. The challenge this week is to use two or more design papers, sponsored by Lacy Sunshine.
So I have used this gorgeous Rory image and matched her up with Butterfly Kisses digital papers from NitWits.
I am sure I have mentioned it before but my favourite 'thing' at the moment is colouring with artist pencils. I have been building up a very good collection of all my favourite brands, but to get the soft, water colour effect that you see on this image I have used my Spectrum Noir blendable pencils. I also used the blending solution and paper stumps to soften the lines......a very satisfying and relaxing activity!
So that's my card for today. I hope that you will dig through some of your own design papers and come and join us over at Fab n Funky.
See you there!

Home is where the mouse is.
Don't you love it when you come across something that you had all but forgotten about when you are having a bit of a tidy out?
That's exactly what happened to me, when I was doing a bit of re-organizing in my craft room. There were bits and bobs everywhere and then I came upon my old friends, the Makey Bakey Mice! Well the industrious plans stopped right there, as I found myself sitting on the floor looking through the stamps...very one of which put a smile on my face.
You can guess what happened next.....a bit of stamping, a bit of printing from the matching CD ROM, and this was the first result.
If you have any of these stamps, you will know that the guide image is done in a very soft, water colour effect, which is exactly the same look that I wanted to achieve, so I set to work with my Spectrum Blendable pencils, blending oil and paper stumps.
So now I have a lovely completed card, made with the easel template from the CD. The re-organising will just have to wait until another day!
Thanks for stopping by today.
