I am so excited to finally be able to tell you that I have been invited to join the Colour Crazy challenge team!
This is really an honour for me as I find myself amongst some amazing colourists and it is very humbling to be part of the team....and what a lovely bunch they are too!
So on to my first card for the team, and this week we are sponsored by Dr Digi.
I have coloured my image - Toolshed Tim, with my Spectrum noir markers and Colourblend pencils.
He is quite a comical character don't you think?
Anyway - I had zoomed in on that little seedling in the pot, and I wanted to find some papers that would go with a growing things / gardening theme. In to my faithful NitWits digi stash I went and, low and behold, I found the Fincey's Garden FQB, which contained everything I needed, including the little seed packets !
So - there is my very first card for the Colour Crazy Team. I hope you will come over and join our challenge - remember you can colour with anything you like, so don't be shy!
Bye for now.

Family at Cute Card Thursday
We have a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday today, and this week the theme is 'Family'.
Rather than doing an image containing a family, I decided to opt for a family related sentiment :-)
The cute little image that I have chosen is from the Scruffy Little Kitten range by Crafters Companion. I love the toussled hair which is soooooo easy to colour as you basically just squiggle!
I coloured her in with lovely pastel shades using my Spectrum Noir pens and paired her up with papers from the matching CD.
So there we have it! Now I'm looking forward to seeing your interpretation of family over on the challenge blog, so don't forget to join me there!
Bye for now, and thanks for visiting.

It's Christmas already at Fab n Funky
It's time for a new challenge over at Fab n Funky, and this week the theme is Christmas. It's good to have a reason to get started on those Christmas cards good and early don't you think?
Our sponsor this week is Dr Digi and they have a whole range of Christmas inspired digital images.
I decided to go with this very friendly looking Father Christmas - I think he is just as I imagined he would look when I was a kid.
I love this image of him updating his naughty and nice list, but I found it might be a bit of a challenge because there was a lot of white in there. I tackled this by using variations on whitish shades using my Spectrum Noir pens.
So for the beard and notice board - Ice Gray 1 and 2
For the shirt - some of the paler grays from the BG (Brown Gray) spectrum.
Finally, I decided to make the scroll of paper look like parchment, so I went for EB1 and EB2 to get that look.
Finally, I wanted to make it look like he was in a room in Lapland so I found some digi paper that looks like floor boards and paired it with a beautiful paper from Polkadoodles Winnie's Winter Wonderland, which I thought made wonderfully festive wall paper!
So that is me, one step closer to Christmas!
I can't wait to see all of your lovely makes, so be sure to come and join us over at Fab N Funky.
Thanks very much for visiting today.

Birthdays at Cute Card Thursday.
It's time for a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday, and this week the theme is Birthdays.
For my card, I have decided to go fairly clean and simple, and i have picked a lovely image from Saturated Canary. I just love her raggety wings!
To colour her in I used my Colourblend pencils, with paper stumps and blending fluid and I have jazzed up her wings with a little bit of silver glitter.
I have used my dotty stamp all around the edge to frame her and thrown in some extra dots of clear glitter, just because I could!
Finally, my lovely sentiment is a Tonic die. I particularly love this one because it is so delicate and swirly, plus it cuts beautifully too.
So that's my card for today. I hope you like it, and that you will join us over at Cute Card Thursday. We look forward to seeing al your lovely creations!
Thanks for stopping by.

More than one fold at Cute Card Thursday.
So, we have an brand new challenge at Fab n Funky this week and our theme is 'more than one fold' sponsored by All Dressed Up, so I have gone with a stepper card for this theme.
Those of you who visit my blog will have noticed that I am quite a fan of All Dressed Up, although usually I tend to go for the human characters, so it was really nice to get colouring with one of the animals for a change. For this little cutie pie, I coloured her with Spectrum Illustrators, and then use my Prismacolour pencils to get all the tiny details on the swing and flowers.
Finally I matched her up with some lovely colourful paper from the NitWits Hello Sunshine digital set.
Thanks for coming to visit today, and I look forward to seeing you over at Cute Card Thursday.

Fantasy time at Fab n Funky
Hi there. I am back with my DT card for Fab n Funky this week, where the theme is Fantasy....so fairys, unicorns anything goes if it would fit on to a fantasy world.
I have used this little cutie from All Dressed Up. How tiny she must be to sit underneath those flowers!
I have kept it all fairly simple, to focus on that lovely little fairy. But of course I just had to add some fairy dust, with a splash of glitter here and there!
So I hope you will come and join us over at Fab n Funky. I am hoping to see lots more lovely fairies!
Bye for now and thanks for visiting.

A four leaf clover for luck!
Hi there. it has been a while since I posted but I am back today with a card that I made for a friend who left work recently. I have known her for a long time, so I wanted to make her a card that represented the things she likes.
This image for Sherri Baldy fitted just perfectly as my friend is Irish, she has a special waist coat that she uses for Morris dancing, and of course the clover represents good luck.
I went to town on the colouring for this one, using both my Spectrum Noir pens and the colour blend pencils for the job. Plus i was so happy that I managed to achieve a face with a defined nose and a soft blush for a change........just wondering if I will ever be able to do that again!
My backing papers are from Nitwits - I thought that the heart pattern on the right looked a bit like a four leaf clover too.
Four once I had this card prepared in good time, and it was lovely to be able to really take my time and enjoy the process for a change!
That's all from me now...time to hit the Easter cards...yes I am back to my good old 'getting behind' ways once again! Thank good ness I have a week off work! :-)
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your weekend.

Chicks, chicks and more chicks!!!
Hi. I am back today with a whole bunch of cards featuring Tiddly Inks chicks. Cute Card Thursday have an Easter challenge this week, so this seemed to be perfect for the job.
These are so easy to colour and such fun too, as you can add in your own lettering to personalise the message, so I decided to put the recipients names in by digitally adding the letters using Serif Craft Artist. However, you could easily do this by hand with a micron pen if your writing is neat.
My little felt toys were little extra gifts to go with the card, and I made them myself, using on line patterns purchased from Sew Sweet.
Hope you like what you have seen today. I look forward to seeing your Easter designs over at Cute Card Thursday.
Bye for now.
