Hi there! Withe the creepy season fast approaching it's time to get going with some Halloween Cards, so this week at Cute Card Thursday we have a theme of Trick or Treat, sponsored by Bugaboo.
They have absolutely tonnes of images in store, but I had to go with this one as the bat with the googly eyes really made me laugh.
I have coloured this pair in with my Spectrum Noirs, and I have added the faintest hint of lilac on the mummy so that he tones in with the purple background.
I hope you like this fun iamge and I look forward to seeing you over at Cute Card Thursday this week.

What's up chick?
Hi there.
I'm back with a very quick post today. It's a very simple CAS card using a very cute digi stamp with I coloured with my Spectrum Noirs.
I left my card sentiment free, but I think it could be used for any number of reasons, just by adding a sentiment: 'Sorry I forgot', 'Feel Better Soon', 'Just a Little Note to Say......'
With that cute little face I think this lovely chick is perfect for all sorts of occasions!
Thanks so much for visiting today.

Trees and Sparkle
Hi there. I am back today with a Christmas card, as it seems that it is the time of year when crafters' minds are turning in that direction!
This is a card that I made for last Christmas, using all sorts of lovely things from Stamps by Chloe.
I have created the background sheet using an pine tree sprig stamp and lots of WOW embossing powder, and I used a lovely branch on acetate to create the golden embellishments.
Now on to the trees, which are another set of Chloe's stamps. As you can see I have paper pieced them, and I have raised the central tree for some perspective. Finally chunky glitter and faux snow were the perfect finish for this card.
Hope you like my card for today and thanks for visiting!

Include Flowers.....and not just on the backing paper!
We have a new challenge over at Fab n Funky, and the theme is to use flowers....but we have a twist in the we don't want you to just use a flowery backing paper!
So for my card I have gone very CAS and I have used a lovely Sheena Douglas Orchid stamp, which I embossed in white embossing powder and then coloured using the water flooding technique and Spectrum Aquas.
This is a really simple technique which is just perfect for natural objects, such as flowers, and the results are so satisfying!
I continued my flower theme by embossing my pearlescent backing card with flowers too, so add to the flower theme without over powering the delicate orchid.
Not my usual style but I really hope you like it!
PS - Don't forget to pop over to Fab n Funky and join in the fun.
Bye for now.

Colour Crazy Challenge Sponsored by Little Miss Muffet
Hi there. I am back with another challenge post today, this time for Colour Crazy, where the theme is always anything goes, as long as you show off your colouring!
This week, we are sponsored by Little Miss Muffet, and I have chosen this gorgeous Dexter in Love image to colour up and get an early start on my Christmas cards.
I have coloured this cute little pair with my Spectrum Noir pens and created my own background using Sheena Douglas's glycerine technique, which I think is totally fabulous!
A very CAS card, but hopefully bright and cheery too!
Thanks for visiting today, and keep on colouring!

Banners and Flags as Cute Card Thursday
Hi everyone. I have been absent for a while but I am back again today with a new challenge for Cute Card Thrusday, sponsored by All Dressed Up. Look at this little cutie - I think she is just adorable, and I had great fun colouring her in soft colours with my Copic markers.
Now on to the theme, which is Banners and Flags. I thought this would be the perfect opprotunity to get out on of my Tattered Lace Greetings Banners which, I thought went perfectly with this image, without over powering it.
I have made my card up in a 7 x 7 size, using some gorgeous Tilly Daydream papers from Docrafts. I really love this set of papers, and I will be very sad when they are gone!
So that's my card for today. Hoping that you like it and I look forward to seeing you over at the Cute Card Thursday challenge.
Bye for now.

A sparkly sunset
Hi there. Happy Sunday to all. I hope you are having a lovely day, doing whatever you like to do on a Sunday!
I decided to spend a few minutes doing a blog post as, apart from my scheduled DT posts, I haven't actually posted anything for ages.
Here is a card that I made a while back, having watched a Sheena Douglas show where she showed how to make a background with sparkle pens. So I decided to experiment a bit myself and made about 4 backgrounds using this technique.
Here is the result of one of them which I finished iff using a variety of Lavinia and Inkylicious stamps.
This version was on water colour card, which made the spreading of the sparkle pen a bit easier, but the down side was that the fairy stamp did not come out quite as solid as I would have liked. Also, the water colour paper curled and no amount of flattening under books etc would get it perfectly flat again, so it took a bit of effort to get it stuck down on the card!
None the less, it was a very fun and creative few hours for me, and I will definitely be doing this again.
Thanks for visiting today!
