The world is sparkling this evening
Well it is time for another new launch on Hochanda and this time it is some more lovely Spectrum Sparkle pens. I have been lucky enough to be able to play with themand there are some lovely colours in there.
This card has been made with just one shade of pink and one shade of green, and a little bit of yellow, so, as you can see, you don't need loads of them to make something pretty. :-)
Thanks for visiting.

Another Sparkling card
Time for another quick peak at a card made using the new Sparkle pens, coupled with Donna's stamps.
Everything you can see has been coloured with the Sparkle pens which means that your backing paper will always compliment your image.
Thanks for looking.

My final sneak peak for Sheena's Perfect Partners
Finishing off my sneak peaks - with this lovely Poppy image which I coloured with Sparkle pens.
For my leafy backing paper I stamped an accompanying stamp using a grey versafine ink and for the central backing panel I die cut some of the accessory dies from silver centura pearl card, and adhered them to the panel.
So the count down is now on - not long to go until Sheena's shows on Hochanda - enjoy!!

Sheena Sneak Peak number 6
Today a very clean and simple card using these gorgeous flowers. For this card I cut away the leave and re positioned them so that I could make a lovely spray of flowers. Lots of 3D glue gel was the order of the day here to really lift those flowers form the page.
Don't forget these are on air tonight at 6pm on Hochanda. :-)
Thanks for visiting. Stop by later for my very last sneak peak before the show!

Sheena's Perfect Partners Sneak Peak 5
Another sneak peek for Sheena's Monday release, using the lovely lilies. These stamps and dies are huge!
I coloured everything you see here with Spectrum Sparkles, and of course how could I resist using the brilliant glycerine technique!

Sheena's Perfect Partners - Sneak Peak 4
My second circular card from this lovely range.
I am not sure if blue flowers really exist, but that's the lovely thing about artistic licence!
Once again my mount was made with plain white Sheena Card which I edged with sparkle pen.
Don't forget to check in with the Inkoids on facebook for loads more fabulous samples.
Thanks for visiting.

Sheena's Perfect Partners Sneak Peak 2
Time for another sneak peak at the new Perfect Partners range by Sheena Douglass which is launching on Hochanda this Monday at 6pm/
For this card I have die cut the gerberas and decoupaged them on to my main card. I also made the backing paper, using one of the smaller stamps on the set, which I think is really effective.
Thanks for looking!

Coming soon - Sheena's New Launch
Hi all,
For those of you who love Sheena Douglass, I am sure you will be pleased to know that she has a new launch coming up this Monday on Hochanda at 6pm. There will be another fantastic set of flower themed Perfect partners coming out......so stamps and dies, and trust me they are fabulous!
Here's my first sneak peek using Gerberas (or daisies as you can see from my sample!)
I do love a round card, and when using the stamps in conjunction with the dies, you get a perfect little flower spray to make a wreath.
For my sample I have used a combination of sparkle pens and aquablends for the colouring. Even the orange matting that you see started out as white card, but I edged it with sparkle pen....so now you can always get a perfect match with your backing papers. :-)
Everything you see here was made using Sheena Stamping Card, which is even strong enough to make the card base too.
If you are looking for even more sneak peaks and inspiration, search out Sheena's Inkoids on face book where you will find tonnes of samples made by my incredibly talented team mates.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend.

Cute Card Thursday - Cute Critters
It's time for a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday and this week our theme is cute critters.
As it has been so cold and icy recently, I decided to get back to a snowy theme with this gorgeous Lili of the Valley image which I coloured with my Kuretake Real Colour pens.
I don't know if you can see but there is a sprinkling of glitter just for good measure.
I hope you like these cute little chaps and that you will come to CCT and share your own slice of critter cuteness.
Bye for now.

It's Christmas at Fab n Funky
It's time for a new challenge at Fab n Funky and this week the theme is Christmas. I decided to create a lovely snowy scene using this lovely image from Donna Ratcliff and I matched it up with an embossing folder from the Nordic collection which was released by Crafters Companion for Christmas 2016.
I coloured most of the image in using Spectrum Noirs, and I created the sky with distress markers and glycerin.
So now it's your tern. Join us over at Fab n Funky and show us what you've got!!

Time to face the music.
I'm back today with a little sneak peak as Sheena Douglass is going to be back on our screens this Wednesday from 6pm, featuring a fabulous new set of musical themed stamps, drawn by our DT chief, Donna Ratcliff.
Here's my first sneak peak featuring a saxaphone image, which is quite sizeable as this is an 8 x 8 card!
I have coloured my card using Aqua pens and included a bit of the glycerin technique on the side there, plus you can get to see a peak of one of the other stamps being released there too.
Set buttons to record - you are going to love this one!!

Colour Crazy Challenge with Oddball Art
We have a new challenge at Colour Crazy this week where we are sponsored by one of our regular sponsor - Oddball Art.
Those of you who know this company will be with their quirky, slightly 'zombie' style of art, so I thought that this particular image was slightly different to the kind of thing that we normally see (and love!) from them.
I really love this image as I thought it was perfect for a new home card, but could also be good for someone leaving home...perhaps going to university?
I particularly like the sketchy style of this image as it means you don't have to be too perfect with your colouring...if you go over the line a bit, it just fits with the general feel of the composition, and as such it is really relaxing to colour.
I used my Copics on this occasion but I think this image would work well with any colouring medium that you have to hand. :-)
So that's my card today. Hope you like it and will pop on over to Colour Crazy to share whatever you have been colouring this week.
Thanks for stopping by.

Valentines with Fab n Funky
We have a new challenge over at Fab n Funky, and also a brand new sponsor - Mama Makes, who you can find right here.
Loti, the owner and designer, gave us this lovely image to work with, and I decided to go for a soft look, using my Spectrum blendable pencils and blending fluid.
I stuck to three shades of grey and 2 shades of red to get this look, so sometimes less really is more!
I also used a red pencil and blending fluid to create the red border around the sentiment banner to.
So - it's a very clean and simple look for me today.
I hope you will join us over at Fab n Funky, and share your Valentine makes.
Bye for now.

Sheena Douglas - beautiful poppies
Hi all. Did you manage to catch Sheena's Sketchies slows last week on Hochanda? The shows were fabulous as always, with loads of techniques and ideas for all of you Sparkle Pens and Aqua Pens fans out there.
Here is one of my cards for the show, featuring the fabulous poppies which I absolutely love!
I created an easel card, using some of my existing dies, and stamped the main Poppy image, using versafine, and coloured in with a combination of aqua pens and sparkles.
For the base I stamped and embossed the same image using white embossing powder, and then I stamped a couple of the flowers again, so that I could cut them out and decoupage them as stoppers.
I really loved making this card. I have a feeling that this stamp will be seeing a lot more ink in the near future!
Thanks for visiting today.

SWALK Sorry You're leaving card with Spectrum Noir
It's time for a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday, and this week the theme is Anything Goes, sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.
For my card this week I have delved in to my old stash and pulled out some of my lovely old SwALK stamps. They seem to have a stamp to cover every occasion, so I managed to find just what I needed for a leaving card.
I found some nice cheery paper and coloured my characters to match, using my Spectrum Noir pens.
Finally I embossed the central panel to add a bit of interest.....
Hope you like my card today, and thanks for visiting!
