In to the man cave.......

Hi everyone. I am back today with a man card for a change! I have had birthdays for both my dad and my father in law in the last week or so, so man cards were definitely the order of the day.

Having exhausted both golf and fishing over the years, I opted for this lovely vintage boy at his work bench, which i thought would suit my father in law very well.
The image is from Lili of the Valley and I have coloured it all in with Spectrum Colourblend pencils and blending oil.

My lovely hammers and nails paper came from a very old Messy Rabbit CD that I got from Joanna Sheen....sadly I don't think it is available any more.

As you can imagine, the person for whom this card was intended isn't much in to glitter and ribbons, so I kept it all very clean and simple, although I did indulge myself with a few candy dots!

So that's a difficult card out of the way...now to set my mind on what I am going to do for Father's Day!

Thanks for visiting today.
