A new year brings new opportunities...

Well -  sad to say I have been a terrible blogger recently, but I think I needed a little break from blogging so I could focus on creativity.

Thank you to all of my followers who have stuck with me - I really do appreciate you all!!

Sp of course it has been a busy time, crafting wise, what with Christmas and all...and yes I was still finishing off family Christmas cards on Christmas Eve (oh the shame!).

As always, I have promised myself to be better organised this year....I guess only time will tell on that one!

Meanwhile, I have some very exciting news in that the lovely Donna Ratcliff and Sheena Douglass have asked me to join their design team - so i am now officially one of Sheena's inkoids!!

It was all a bit of a fairy tale for me, in that I was lucky enough to go on one of Sheena and Donna's craft days near where I live. I had an absolute ball, so if anything is thinking of going on these days just go for it - you will love it! Anyway, as the day went on, we got chatting as you do, and talking about what DTs we were involved with and so on.

So after a lovely day, I went home, having had a lovely day, and thought no more of it.......until I got a facebook message from Donna.....and the rest, as they say is history.

So, with the start of the new year, I am very excited to see what is to come in terms of this  new challenge, and also to continue on with the other lovely blog DTs that i am so happy to be a part of:

Cute Card Thursday
Fab n Funky
Colour Crazy

So, if you are looking for a little light hearted crafty fun this year, please come and visit any one of these lovely blogs, for lots of inspiration and the chance to win some crafty prizes!

Finally, a quick mention about my card for today - in honour of the lovely Sheena crew, who have welcomed me so warmly, here is a card made using Sheena's beautiful Iris stamp which was released last year, coloured with Spectrum Aquas on watercolour paper.

Hope you like it, and thanks for taking the time to read all of my waffle today!

Bye for now.
