It's been a while…...

Well it has been a few weeks since I have done any blogging, or anything else for that matter, as I had the misfortune to be hit with a nasty case of Bronchitis - yuck! I am normally blessed with good health and I was really shocked how sudden and how debilitating this illness can be. I know that there are those of you out there who suffer this kind of thing on a regular basis and, believe me you have my sympathy!

Anyway, hopefully it's onwards and upwards for me now…..slow and steady wins the race as they say, and today is the first time I have felt enough energy to post on my blog so here it is.

I made this card for my parents' wedding anniversary which was a few weeks ago - there was something about those two mice that seemed just right for the occassion.
I created the background first, using my  E sprayer and a paper template that I made. I then masked the bottom of the heart so that the mushroom would fit in just nicely, before colouring the whole thing in.

I am not usually one for mirri card these days but, on this occasion, it seemed like just what was needed, so i did a nice bit of matting and layering to finish off.

So finally a few challenges for me to enter before I pop off for today:
