It's challenge time again at Fab n Funky and this week we are looking at all things girly.
We have a lovely sponsor this week - a Day for Daisies - and they are offering a voucher to spend at their on line shop as a prize.
I chose this delicate little fairy for my card and you can find her right here.
She is such a tiny and delicate little creature so I decided to use my Lyra pencils for this one so that I could get in to the details a bit more easily. The twigs and her little arms as legs are not that much wider than a pencil lead in my version but I managed to get in there and do some shading thanks to my trusty pencil sharpener which gave me a lovely point on my pencils.
I have kept the card fairly simple but have used a lovely detailed Tonic die to frame my little fairy....and I resisted the urge to apply glitter and pearls.....I just added the tiniest bit of sprakle to her wings.....well you have to for a fairy don't you??
So that's my card for today. I do hope that you will pop over to Fab n Funky and join in with this week's challenge. Look forward to seeing you there.

Beautiful card Sharon. The way you 'framed' the image - the die cut actually looks like tree limbs and leaves which is a perfect compliment to the image.
ReplyDeleteGreat design and a lovely card. Hugs, Carol S.xx
